As previously stated, I finally passed ‘Intro To Network Analysis‘ course (after 4 failed attempts). Immediately after obtaining my certificate of completed education – I enrolled in another course – ‘Introduction To Digital Forensics‘. The course looks promising, but also intimidating. It looks a bit more complicated compared to my previous course. I’m hoping to get this completed before the year is over. Once I have this course completed – I will be uploading all of my notes, from all of my courses – that I’ve I completed this year. I have no idea if anyone will use them – but it is solid information for free. Aside from continuing my education – I have started a new style for my ‘Life Is Simple . . .‘ t-shirt collection. This will be a Simpsons style shirt – and I still don’t know if I’ll release it – as it needs a bit of work on the penal area of the head. Same slogan – different style. I have a few more designs lined up after that as well. Will be working on a few more designs for ‘No Time For BS . . .‘ collection of t-shirts. Switching Merchants. I have always used Threadless to print my shirts and have them mailed out. They offer some great features and I truly appreciate what the service has taught me – but on my last t-shirt sale I only made $1.14. At that rate I would need to be selling at 100 shirts per day (which isn’t happening). I’ve been ordering in small bulk from Threadless and selling them locally straight out of my backpack for $20.00. That method gives me almost $5.00 per shirt. With that information I have opened a new account with MerchYeah. The new merchant offers so much more – and also a little bit less. I can now offer superior shirt quality at the same price – while making the commission I need & deserve – which is so exciting. I will be ordering my prototype to see what the print quality is – so I’m hoping it is superior in quality as well. One of the downsides I’ve found (running a free account) is that I cannot put more than 3 colors per shirt. It’s not a terrible thing – but I loved having options. I’m going to deal with that though and see what comes. So far – I only have the newest ‘Life Is Simple . . .’ design up. More on that later . . .
